FAQ
Where are your pieces made?
Our lights are exclusively made in Germany (with the exception of 1 light made in the Netherlands).
We not only assemble the lights in the manufactures, we make the vast majority of components in house as well.
Components such as specialized LED modules etc. which we need to source outside are mainly sourced locally as well.
Our stone pieces are made either in Italy or in Greece, with local Italian or Greek marble / stone.
Our wood pieces are made in several central European countries.
What are your lead times?
Our lead times depend on the specific piece and whether there are customization requirements.
Generally speaking our lead times vary from 6 - 8 weeks. During holiday season (summer + winter break) lead times are generally 2 weeks longer, thus please plan accordingly.
Can an order be rushed if we have a particularly tight deadline?
We always try to accommodate orders that are on a tight deadline when possible. Please always inform us if you are working on a strict deadline. We will then be able to let you know whether or not we can guarantee a timely delivery.
We prefer to keep rushed orders to a minimum because it causes considerable pressure on our manufacturing processes. Each light is made to order and there are many steps involved, many of which need to be rushed. For this reason we kindly ask that you place your order as early as possible to avoid having to rush it.

Every piece is made to order. When we receive your order, we start to plan for the production of your piece(s) which often involves ordering new raw materials, specific electric components, scheduling processes on various machines, etc.
For this reason, we accept cancellations only within 3 days of having placed an order.
Are returns possible?
Every piece is made to order, we do not keep stock. For this reason, we do not accept returns.
Are your lights UL certified?
Manufactured in Germany, our lights conform to CE standards.
For US clients who wish for their light to be UL certified, we work with workshops in the US which may UL certify the light.
There is an added cost for this service. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding this possibility.
Can we buy directly through you or should I buy through a local retailer?
You may buy directly through us or through your local retailer.
If I work with a local retailer - should I address questions to them or you directly?
You should address questions regarding purchasing conditions and delivery to your local retailer. You may contact either us or your local retailer regarding technical, customization, lead time etc. questions regardless of whether you place your order directly through us or your local retailer.
How can I know if my order is ready?
When you place your order, we will indicate the lead time. We will inform you when your order leaves the manufacturer.

Care and maintenance
Our pieces are made last decades and age gracefully. Using quality materials and great care during manufacturing is the basis for a long-lasting piece. Proper care and maintenance are as important. Please do not use any harsh cleaning products on lights or furniture. There is no need to use more than a damp cloth. Using cleaning products that contain solvents or other chemicals that may interact with the surface of the pieces may compromise the protective barrier and irreversibly damage the piece.
